My own work

1. Is to have my work in the offices or waiting areas of therapists, treatment facilities, recovery meeting rooms and the like. My work is designed to give people mental space and breath while they balance laying the foundations of recovery (housing, job, community, etc...) along with taking time for self care. We tend to think in a vacuum even when not in recovery. Perspective through images can help when many of us don't know how to trust ourselves or those around us. 

2. To create an online space for other artists in recovery to showcase their art. There are unbelievably talented people who for whatever reason find themselves consumed by drugs, alcohol or other vices. Reemerging on the other side of use or obsession allows us the time and space to create. To have a venue to showcase that work may further open doors or create connections otherwise not possible.
